We are seeking an explorationist in Tromsø with at least 5 years relevant experience from the petroleum industry.

We can offer an exciting position where you will work in a multidisciplinary team with the following tasks:

- Seismic interpretation

- Play analysis

- Prospect evaluation

- Inversion/AVO analysis

- Geophysical survey planning

- Acquisition and processing

- Round applications

- Licence work

You are supposed to have the following qualifications:

- Master/Dr. degree in Geophysics or Geology from the University or similar
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience from the petroleum industry

- Competence to handle a range of geophysical tools

- Good cooperation and communication skills
