PL449 – Seismic survey completed

M/V Ocean Explorer has been acquirin 3D seismic data in PL449 for approximately three months.

A total of 670 km2 seismic covering the prospective area in the license was completed last week. The survey has been conducted without any incidents and according to cost/schedule.
OMW is the Operator in the license and Discover Petroleum AS holds a 30 % equity share. "The data will now be processed and evaluated. A decision on an exploration well will be taken late in 2009", the Exploration Director Yngve Vassmyr, quotes.
